The former home of Pierre Simon Vincent Hamot (1784-1846), a prominent Erie businessman, is located on the corner of East Third and French Streets in downtown Erie, Pennsylvania. The home was built in 1828 in one of the oldest parts of the city. It was restored in 1990-1991 and was also added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1991. The building currently serves as the location of the Hamot Health Foundation. Both the foundation and the nearby UPMC Hamot Hospital are named for P.S.V. Hamot.
