Lollik Cemetery, formed on an 1875 homestead, was created for the Larsen and Hansen families from Denmark and most of the grave markers here bear one of those two names. A few of the inscriptions are in Danish. The cemetery was named "Lollik" by Orla Valdemar Hansen after his great-great-grandfather, who lived in the late 1600s. The oldest grave marker here (for Kristine Larsen) is dated 1879; the newest (Gladys Hansen), 1999. The cemetery is still being maintained.
Many web sites that describe Lollik Cemetery (including, unusually, the find-a-grave site linked below) have copied the same text! One of them gave a reference: "Cemeteries in Sumner County, Kansas" by Harvey and Ruth Swan (1983).
