This plane crash site is near the village Welling in the Eifel. It has been build by a small shrine at a way from Welling to the farm Aslinger Hof. On the shrine has been two plaques placed. One is written in German and the other one in English, the language spoken by the victims of the accident.

On 22. September 1994 a helicopter of the British Armee started at the airbase in Mendig, about 6 km away from Welling. Shortly after it has started, one of the rotor-blades has failed due to technical reasons. The helicopter crashed and both crew members has died.
