In selfless acts of courage Firefighters, Police and Emergency Services persevered to rescue survivors and reclaim victims. Private citizens bravely assisted others to safety, volunteered in recovery efforts, and generously supported the victims and their families.
America's Spirit and stength had never been more evident as her leaders and private citizens stood united, answering the acts of terrorism with an astounding display of patriotism.
In the aftermath of the tragedy America's brave sons and daughters continue to protect our heritage, dedicated to the preservation of freedom and the principles of democracy that define America.
