A large free pantry is located outside of the Riverside Cafe of Derby.

This large cabinet now serves as a free pantry for the community. It is located in a covered area outside Riverside Diner of Derby. The left side of the dresser has several horizontal shelves that hold a large assortment of food. A cabinet on the right side has a bag of clothes. Some of the food items available when we visited were: canned beans, canned vegetables, bag of rice, box of pasta, fresh vegetables, a couple jars of peanut butter, and some misc. items.
Although the box gets some sun during the late afternoon, it appears to be well protected from the sun during most of the day. The overhang provides ample protection against rain, too.
Etched in black on the left glass door are the following words:
