What is the story of this little patch of land? All that remains of the farm house that once stood here is a fireplace and chimney, and a water-well pump nearby. The land is otherwise fallow and shows no signs of recent use, although it appears to have been mowed within the last few months. Do the children or grandchildren of these early home builders still own this lot? Do they plan to build a new home here some day? Only they know.
This chimney is on private property. It can be seen easily from the road, but please respect the property line and do not cross the fence.
