Originally this was built as Fulton Park and was re-named Veterans Park. Not sure when it was re-named, but park was built in the 1930s by the Civilian Conservation Corps.

"Originally built in the 1930’s by the Civilian Conservation Corps, this facility went through a restoration period and was used to rededicate the park on Veteran’s Day. The ampitheatre can be used for music events or weddings. This facility seats up to 400 people and is equipped with electrical outlets and lights." ~ ~ City of Fulton
