A noteworthy Renaissance oak screen of the early 17th century in St Mary's church, Iwerne Courtney.
The screens across the east end of the north aisle, and in the archway between the aisle and the chancel enclose the Freke monument, and what was at the time probably the Freke family pews. Made of oak, they consist of two sets of panelling, opon which are set various colonettes with ornamental latticeworks which enclose the Freke family crests. There is an entablature with masks and tendrils on the frieze, and coats-of-arms of Freke and Talor.
