This mural is located on the northwest corner of the intersection of 1st and Broadway, on the south side of thre one-story building at 23 S. Broadway, home of Sacred Heart Gifts.
The wall is brick and painted with a black chalkboard paint. The words "I'm Grateful..." are painted in white at the top, and a wood shelf is attached to the mural, with pieces of colored chalk available for participants. The mural is covered with words in various sizes and styles - not necessarily artistic, but with heartfelt expression of what local citizens are grateful for. We read the words: Family, Grand Baby, Jesus, health and being single. It's a fun mural to see. It's about filled up so I don't know whether it will just stay that way, or whether the artist will paint it over and start again. The creator of this unique mural is Zonly Looman, a local artist whose
Studio Z is in downtown Edmond on 4th Street.
