Saint John of Nepomuk (or John Nepomucene) [Czech: Jan Nepomucký; German: Johannes Nepomuk; Latin: Ioannes (or Ioannis) Nepomucenus (c. 1345 – March 20, 1393) is the saint of Bohemia (Czech Republic), who was drowned in the Vltava river at the behest of Wenceslaus, King of the Romans and King of Bohemia. Later accounts state that he was the confessor of the queen of Bohemia and he refused to divulge the secrets of the confessional. On the basis of this account, John of Nepomuk is considered the first martyr of the Seal of the Confessional, a patron against calumnies and, because of the manner of his death, a protector from floods and drowning.

Barokní skulptura je umístena v prostoru mezi kostelem sv. Petra a Pavla s místní komunikací, jihozápadne od nároží kostela. Je orientována celne ke komunikaci. Sokl i skulptura jsou z pískovce. Na ctyrstupnovém podstavci ctvercového pudorysu stojí podstavec tvaru kvádru s profilovanou patkou a hlavicí, výška cca 170 cm. Socha je v životní velikosti, svetec stojí s mírne nakrocenou pravou nohou. Na predloktí pravé ruky spocívá kamenný krucifix, levá ruka pridržuje ratolest , splývající pres rameno. Odev svetce tvorí dlouhá komže, pres ni kratší roucho se zdobeným lemem, na ramenou je hermelínová pláštenka, pridržovaná smyckou, uvázanou u krku. Hlavu se zvlnenými lasy a vousy zdobí knežská capka. Kolem hlavy je kovaná svatozár s peti hvezdami. Sokl je od rímsou vyzdoben hlavickami andelu.
