The coordinates given is for Station 1 of the 14 Stations of the Cross that are places along a winding concrete walking path in the middle of the Oblate School of Theology campus. There is open parking in a lot entered from Mt. Sacred Heart Road that is the next street north of Oblate Drive. From the parking lot, proceed past the Gift Shop to the shrine to the Lady of Guadalupe and then continue toward the large bronze bass relief sculpture honoring "... the Missionary Oblatesof the Gospel trhoughout South Texas on horseback ...." Right where the sidewalk forks into a path toward the Grotto Sanctuary of Our Lady of Lourdes to the left and to the path where the Stations of the Cross are found. Station 1 is just off the sidewalk on the right edge. Station 1 is known as Jesus Condemned to Death. This is the Station the posted coordinates take you. Following farther down the footpath, between Station 6 Veronica Offers Her Vail to Jesus and Station 7 He Falls a Second Time, there is an excellent sculpture a man, a woman, and a newborn baby titled "Hope Monument" that honors the sanctity of human life. Continuing along the path, between Station 12 Jesus Dies Upon the Cross and Station 13 Jesus is Taken Down from the Cross, is an area marked as Joseph's Garden where a shrine constructed of local limestone rocks honors Joseph, who is holding a young child. Two more Stations after Joseph's Garden is the last station, Station 14 Jesus is Laid in the Tomb. By following the footpath around the central part of the OST campus, you have passed all 14 Stations of the Cross and are back on the opposite side of the Grotto Sanctuary of Our Lady of Lourdes. You can continue around the front of the Grotto or opt to step into the driveway behind the Grotto to return to your car.

Although the campus of the Oblate School of Theology is a private school, its campus is designed to minister to the public: the people of San Antonio and beyond. There is the Grotto of Our Lady of Lourdes open to those who want to come to it. Similarly, on campus is a shire to Our Lady of Guadalupe where people from the local area neighborhoods come to pray and seek guidance. The 14 Stations of the Cross along the path that circles through the campus is open for those who want to walk to each station. There is even a Gift Shop within sight of the Lady of Guadalupe shrine and the Grotto. The public is welcomed to visit the campus but are asked to be respectful and peaceful while there to participate in their spiritual quests. There is a large parking lot available for free parking while on campus on the north side of campus. Enter the parking lot from Mount Sacred Heart Road.
