This headstone is sculpted more to resemble a neat pile of bricks or stones than the more common log pile, although the familiar crossed logs with the organizational emblem are present at the top. The family name, "Burkhead", is on the plinth, and the inscription shield reads:

Died Jan. 30, 1910.
