The cross is located beside the Church of St. Bartholomew. The Church of St. Bartholomew is a parish church in Rozsochy, located on the eastern edge of the village of Rozsochy near part of the village of Blažejovice. The church is a late Baroque single-nave building with a Gothic core, the church has a triangular end and two quadrangular towers on the western corner. Two-storey outbuildings have been added on both sides of the presbytery.
The chronograms are located on the cross plinth. The Roman numerals of chronogram are larger than the other letters and are not color-coded from the rest of the text.

Kostel svatého Bartolomeje je farní kostel v rímskokatolické farnosti Rozsochy, nachází se na východním okraji obce Rozsochy nedaleko cásti obce Blažejovice. Kostel je pozdne barokní jednolodní stavbou s gotickým jádrem, kostel má trojboký záver a dve ctyrboké veže na západním nároží. Na obou stranách presbytáre jsou pristaveny patrové prístavky
Umelecky kvalitní pískovcový kríž z r. 1772 spocívající na orímsovaném ctyrbokém soklu s nápisovou kartuší se nachází na prostranství pred kostelem. Mohutný kríž s tvarovanou patkou a trojliste ukoncenými rameny nese plastický reliéf ukrižovaného Krista.
