The building at 112-114 Pine street in Deming began its commercial existence in 1913. Originally it was a hay store, blacksmith shop, an office and a furniture store. The north bay became a social club, named the Deming club in 1930. The Deming club stayed open through 1980. The building is currently empty and owned by the county historical society. In order to maintain the appearance of the building, the sign on the side has been repainted and features the logo of the Deming Club, and of course, Coke!
