The marker is located in Rose Tree Park which is situated in Upper Providence Township, Delaware County near Media, Pennsylvania. The 122 acre county park includes the Old Rose Tree Tavern which was built in 1809 and is listed on the US National Register of Historic Places.
The marker is located along US Route 252 at the intersection of Providence Road.
