Castlehead Viewpoint is located above Castlehead Wood overlooking Derwentwater near Keswick.

Castlehead is a low wooded hill close to Keswick town centre only with magnificent views across Derwentwater and the surrounding fells.

From the viewpoint there is a stunning 360 degree panorama over the full length of Derwentwater encircled by mountains as well as a bird's eye view over the town of Keswick and Bassenthwaite Lake.

An toposcope located at the viewpoint gives the name of 30 fells which can be seen.
