The depicted Art-Nouveau building, originally built for Horní Maršov Savings Bank in 1906, has been the seat of the village Horní Maršov Municipal Office since 1945.

The flood on the night of July 29-30 1897 tore down the house of Horní Maršov mayor Johann Pfluger on the site of the current Town Hall. When all of the offices of Maršov's court district moved into the new building on the town's square, the mayor bought the previous court establishment and opened a shop here. He donated the ruins of his old house to the Maršov Savings Bank, which built its new seat in the modern Art Nouveau style in 1906. On the street level there was a pharmacy with a large shop window. The Horice Stonemasonry School students and professors sculpted a decorative fountain with the statue of Justice, which carries shield with the Maršov municipality's seal. The Maršov Municipal offices have been located here since 1945. The roof construction was simplified and the pharmacy closed down during the reconstruction in the 1960s. Despite this the building with a fountain was proclaimed a Protected cultural monument. Town Hall was reconstructed in 2014-2018.

Municipal Office building is an Art Nouveau free-standing two-storeyed building with a preserved layout, all carpentry elements and stucco decoration of the facades. The front facade has three axes, on the central axis is the main entrance, above it on the 1st floor bay window. Plastic stucco flowers around the windows on the 1st floor. Sundial decorates right side of the building.
