Located on the Florida SouthWestern State College Campus in Fort Myers is the Berne B. Davis "Fountain of Inspiration." This fountain is located north of the Humanities Building and between the Rush Library and Barbara B. Mann Performing Arts Hall. It is a semi-shaded area with seating and a quiet place for reflection.
The main circular portion of the fountain contains five marble slabs submerged under the water with inspirational inscriptions from famous individuals in history. A larger rectangular pool area is connected to the fountain.
Berne B. Davis, was a local community volunteer and philanthroplist, also known as the "first lady of Fort Myers," she is remembered for her many contributions to the area in the arts, culture and education. (
