"121 East 5th Street, Residence, c. 1900, Contributing (Survey #135)
Outbuilding: 2 Garage, 2 non-contributing
Brick, 1 1/2 story Queen Anne Cottage with steeply pitched hipped metal roof, and
projecting front gable. The projecting gable has a wide segmental arched opening on the first
floor containing paired 1/1 windows. The gable has cornice returns and there is a segmental arched opening with a 6/1 window. Centered in the façade is the entrance underneath a shed
roof porch supported by squared columns. A hipped roof dormer is centered in the roofline.
A decorative lightening rod is integrated into the peak of the standing-seam metal roof. Two
modern front gable garages are located at the rear of the property." ~ NRHP Nomination Form
