My Commentary:
This building has a three-foot section of red brick courses then the rest of the building is covered in limestone. There is an entablature that reads: "Lancaster Police Department". The fenestration consists of a central recessed metal and glass door. On the left is a single pane window; on the right is a double pane window.
The Lancaster Police Department is a full time agency, staffed by 7 full time officers and a number of part time officers. Our reception area is staffed from 8:00 am to 3:00 pm Monday – Wednesday and 8:00 am to 1:00 pm on Thursday with our Administrative Assistant/Parking Enforcement. After 3:00 pm, a voice message will direct you to contact the Grant County Sheriff’s Department for emergency situations. For non-emergencies, please leave a message and an Officer will return your call as soon as possible.

I have had NO problems with taking photos of Police stations but please respect the fact that some services may be nervous about having their photo taken and inquire as to why... I have found that once things are explained they are more than happy to let me photograph the building, crest, chief... (they are people too!)
