Saint John of Nepomuk (or John Nepomucene) [Czech: Jan Nepomucký; German: Johannes Nepomuk; Latin: Ioannes (or Ioannis) Nepomucenus (c. 1345 – March 20, 1393) is the saint of Bohemia (Czech Republic), who was drowned in the Vltava river at the behest of Wenceslaus, King of the Romans and King of Bohemia. Later accounts state that he was the confessor of the queen of Bohemia and he refused to divulge the secrets of the confessional. On the basis of this account, John of Nepomuk is considered the first martyr of the Seal of the Confessional, a patron against calumnies and, because of the manner of his death, a protector from floods and drowning.

Na polygonální základne se zaoblenou vyloženou rímsou se tycí jednou odstupnovaná podstava soklu tvaru trojúhelníka s okosenými vrcholy. Pudorys podstavy se promítá do tvaru soklu, který má tri strany širší a tri, nad okosenými plochami, užší. Širší steny soklu jsou cleneny dvojitými vpadlými rámy tvaru vertikálne orientovaného obdélníka s ujmutými hranami. Rám na celní strane nese nápis (viz níže). Na celní strane pod rímsou vystupuje rameno lucerny. Sokl je ukoncen vyloženou rímsou s krycí deskou s profilací výžlabku, na níž spocívá plint se sochou sv. Jana Nepomuckého. Svetec je zobrazen v kontrapostu s vytlaceným pravým kolenem, je odený podle tradicní ikonografie do kleriky, rochety a kožešinové mozzetty. V nárucí objímá mohutný kríž s korpusem, jehož vrchol se opírá o jeho levou paži. Pravou rukou kríž pridržuje patu kríže. Jeho hlavu, otocenou oblicejem smerem k Ukrižovanému, lemuje svatozár s peti hvezdami.
