This headstone is for Anna K. Nielsen, who is buried in Lakeside Cemetery in Erie, Pennsylvania. The headstone only gives the years Mrs. Nielsen lived, without the months or days. It states that she lived from 1898 to 2003 (in three different centuries!). According to an obituary located online, she died on August 26, 2003 at 105 years of age, but her birth date was not given. The grave is located very close to the bluff overlooking Lake Erie, close to the main road in the cemetery. Anna is buried next to James A. Nielsen, who was likely her husband, and who died in 1952.
