Olympians as Atlas - Edmond, OK - Atlas Statues on Waymarking.com

This sculpture of four Olympians, male and female, acting in the role of Atlas as they lift the globe on their backs, is found at the Wellness Center on the campus of the University of Central Oklahoma. This quarter-sized copy of "Olympic Strength," a sculpture by Jon D. Hair that appears at the Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs, Colorado, is one of 24 in a limited edition. The sculpture was acquired in 2014 in recognition of UCO's designation as an official Olympic Training Site in 2005.

Anyone who seeks and finds any or all of the statues must post two pictures of the statue, one just of the statue and the second with either themselves and a GPS unit or themselves with another form of identification showing current date and time for proof of genuine visit. Any and all logs deemed not legitimate visits will be denied and/or deleted.
