In GLENDALE (alt. 300, Burrillville Town), 4.2 m., is a factory for the making of woolen cloth for overcoats. Most of the village houses are to the right of the highway.

Today, the old mill buildings on Mapleville Main Street and New Street are controlled by Metech Recycling, an electronics recycling business. Town Planner Tom Krantz said the owners have obtained a permit to demolish the former mill.

Based on my visit the buildings have been torn down and site is vacant. Property records show the site is still owned by METECH INTERNATIONAL
