In May, the Pays de la Loire region invites you to discover the natural heritage ... life-size! This Saturday, May 25, take the opportunity to go and meet the abundant life of the Baffou marsh in Brézé. In the company of a technician from the Loire-Anjou-Touraine Park, uncover all the secrets of this exceptional site!

The Baffou marsh in Brézé is a large wetland area bordering the Dive. In 2011, the town and the PNR joined forces to restore the site to a rich marsh, promoting the reception of biodiversity. But how does a swamp work? What is his role ? And who live in its ponds?
Saturday, May 25, from 2:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m., take advantage of a free outing to discover all the secrets of the marsh. Accompanied by Bastien Martin, Park technician, set off to explore this very special environment. Frogs, dragonflies, birds reveal themselves for a friendly afternoon. And to continue your discoveries, a pedestrian path marked out with panels on fauna and flora awaits you.
Practical information: Free - Reservation compulsory on 02 41 38 38 88. Meeting at the Baffou marsh (follow the signs from the town hall of Brézé). From 6 years old. Bring hiking boots or shoes, rain gear and binoculars.

A life-size program On the occasion of the International Biodiversity Day on May 22, the Pays de la Loire Region is organizing the 1st edition of "Pays de la Loire Grandeur Nature". From May 11 to 31, 2019, many structures and associations open their doors to you and invite you to discover all the richness of the nature that surrounds us. Ce samedi 25 mai, profitez-en pour partir à la rencontre de la vie foisonnante du marais de Baffou à Brézé. En compagnie d’un technicien du Parc Loire-Anjou-Touraine, percez tous les secrets de ce site exceptionnel !

Le marais de Baffou à Brézé est une vaste zone humide en bordure de la Dive. En 2011, la commune et le PNR se sont associés pour restaurer le site en un marais riche, favorisant l’accueil de la biodiversité. Mais comment fonctionne un marais ? Quel est son rôle ? Et qui habitent ses mares ?
Samedi 25 mai, de 14h30 à 16h30, profitez d’une sortie gratuite pour percer tous les secrets du marais. Accompagnés par Bastien Martin, technicien du Parc, partez à la découverte de ce milieu si particulier. Grenouilles, libellules, oiseaux se dévoilent le temps d’un après-midi convivial. Et pour poursuivre vos découvertes, un sentier pédestre jalonné de panneaux sur la faune et la flore vous attend.
