"Elle est située sur une excroissance rocheuse à l'extrémité nord-ouest du Mont-Saint-Michel. Bâtiment rectangulaire avec un toit à deux pentes et deux petites fenêtres en plein cintre, une statue de saint Aubert surmonte son pignon.
C'est à cet endroit, d'après la légende, que serait tombé un roc (roc isolé dit le Pic-Saint-Aubert) sur lequel est édifié le monument actuel : Aubert d'Avranches ayant reçu l’ordre d’entreprendre la construction de ce qui est devenu le Mont-Saint-Michel, une pierre cultuelle païenne (ancien menhir ?) ne put être renversée par un fermier des environs, nommé Bain et ses douze fils, que par l'intervention miraculeuse de son dernier nouveau né dans les bras d'Aubert qui l'appuya contre la pierre et dont le coup de pied renversa la pierre. "

"It is located on a rocky outcrop at the northwest end of Mont-Saint-Michel. Rectangular building with a two-slope roof and two small semicircular windows, a statue of Saint Aubert overcomes its gable.
It is at this place, according to legend, that a rock fell (isolated rock said Pic-Saint-Aubert) on which is built the current monument: Aubert d'Avranches having received the order to undertake the construction of what has become Mont-Saint-Michel, a pagan cult stone (old menhir?) could only be overturned by a local farmer, named Bain and his twelve sons, by the miraculous intervention of his latest newborn in the arms of Aubert who leaned him against the stone and whose kick knocked over the stone.
