There is no identification plate to be found on the base, like there is for others in the series, and the Center City website doesn't seem to be keeping up with newer additions to the series. Standing upon a concrete base, this horse is black, with white fetlocks and a white stripe down the center of her muzzle. She's wearing a white saddle blanket, trimmed in blue, with "Thanks for shopping at Shops of Soncy" on each side (although the shopping center is called the "Shops at Soncy). On each of her rear flanks is the name of the property owner, Kimco Realty", along with the three blue and gray blocks that are part of their emblem. The organizational name is in relief on a white silhouette of the state of Texas, with "Kimco" in black and "Realty" in white. Interestingly, Kimco is out of New York, not Texas!

Background Story:
"Hoof Prints of the American Quarter Horse" is a city-wide public art display featuring more than 100 fiberglass replicas of an American Quarter Horse. Handled by Center City of Amarillo, with the American Quarter Horse Association as sponsor. it was begun in 2002 to raise money and promote art in public places. Each is a life-sized American Quarter Horse, in honor of an animal so vital to the city of Amarillo. Each horse weighs 125 pounds, and costs $3,500, requiring from three to six months from a local artist to create.
