A lychgate at the southern entrance to St John the baptists churchyard, Bredgar. It was constructed to commemorate the turn of the millennium, and features a row of ducklings on its ridge. It was dedicated by the Bishop of Dover to commemorate the millennium. A small plaque inside the gate is inscribed -

This Lych Gate was dedicated
by the Right Reverend
Stephen Venner, Bishop of Dover
on 21st November 1999,
to commemorate the
Millennium.
'Grant us thy peace
upon our homeward way;
with thee began,
with thee shall end the day.
