Christ the King Chapel is the chapel of Mercyhurst University in Erie, PA. Mercyhurst was founded by the Sisters of Mercy in 1926. The cornerstone for Christ the King Chapel was laid in 1932, and the Chapel opened in 1933. The windows in the nave of the chapel were created by Hiemer & Co. in Columbus, Ohio in 1933. These windows depict scenes from the life of Christ and the Blessed Virgin Mary. In the small Mother Chapel that extends on the north side of the chapel, there is a large window depicting the Blessed Virgin Mary holding the Christ child. This window was created by Rambusch Studios and was dedicated in 2002.
