This old Jesuit church was built in the early 17th Century when it was named Templo de Santiago Apóstol. It's main features are the inner decoration in Moorish style and the tall bell tower. The chapel is known as Loreto and it has a Renaissance style.
Doors of the church are Renaissance style and the pulpit is Baroque.
It's located in the historical center of Sucre and parte of the heritage listed as World Heritage by UNESCO.
Mass is Monday to Saturday at 8am and 7:15pm; on Sundays there's an additional Mass at 11am.
