March Central School dates back to 1965. That building is no longer a public school. For years, the school building had become the community centre. The building is now home to a Montessori school. The Montessori school has an outdoor children's play area.

March Central Park also has a full size baseball diamond, a fenced but aging tennis court, and an oversized outdoor rink. The north end of the rink includes facing basketball hoops. The school building and the fire hall are included within the municipal park boundary.
