The Hondo Cemetery complex is composed of four cemeteries; Guadalupe Cemetery, Woodmen of the World Cemetery, Oakwood Cemetery and St. Johns Catholic Cemetery. The cemetery is well maintained by the city of Hondo. Guadalupe is a privately owned cemetery, they just participate in the city perpetual care.

Peace be with thee Oh!
our brother
In the spirit land!
Vainly look we for
another
In thy place to stand.

JOHN SCHULTE DEAD

News was received here Thursday that John Schulte, a former Medina County citizen, had been accidentally killed in the smelter at El Paso Wednesday night where he was employed.

Messrs. J. H. Horn and Henry Schulte, brother-in-law and brother respectively of the deceased, left Thursday night for El Paso to attend the funeral which will take place in that city under the auspices of the Woodmen of the World of which he was a member. The deceased is survived by a large number of relatives and friends in Medina county.

The Anvil-Herald extends sincere sympathy to the relatives in their hour of bereavement.
