George W. Hargrove's final resting place is marked by a Woodmen of the World marker at the southeast side of Old Bardwell Cemetery. The marker is about six feet tall, with crossed axe and mallet at the top. Below that is diagonal log with the words "W. of the W." Below that is a scroll with George's name and dates of birth and death. At the bottom is a slightly diagonal log with only the family name: "Hargrove".
Old Bardwell Cemetery is located on the far west side of Kentucky, east of the Mississippi River, a little north of the Tennessee border.
