There are 7 of these welded steel plates on a pole. All of the Bratton family, and all in a row in this old cemetery. There are also here, stone with just a mark (i.e. and "X" or a "~") which I presume to be that persons "Mark"...

John was married to Cora E. Autenrieth, and had one child, a son
He was also married to Sarah Jane David with whom he had 5 children, 3 girls and 2 boys.


Per death certificate #2265: John E. Bratton was born in IL on August 25, 1864 to Marion Bratton born in KY and unknown mother. John was a widowed farmer at the time of his death from influenza which was contributed by pneumonia on January 25, 1917 in Montgomery County, MO. Burial took place on January 26, 1917 at Bethany Cemetery with Burton Baker as the undertaker.
