This marker noting the cause of death of Ensign John S. Robben is located at St. Anna Cemetery. The headstone, easily found by looking for the red/white/blue flag on the left, is near the south side of the cemetery grounds. This is a large, upright marker with several military etchings to remind visitors of John's military service.

St. Anna Cemetery was established in 1943.

John was the 5th of 9 children, born to William and Christine. According to the cemetery's findagrave information, there are 42 members of the Robbens family laid to rest at this cemetery.
