ST. VINCENT de PAUL CATHOLIC CHURCH
1830 - Rev. Ostlangenberg S.J. attends the missions in Warren County.
1835 - Rev. P. Christian Hoecken S.J. attends the needs of the Catholics at Lake Creek and Dutzow.
1836 - Rev. James Buschotts S.J. came to Dutzow on scheduled visits from St. Charles.
1837 - The Parish of thirty seven Catholics officially organized into the Archdiocese of St. Louis.
1842 - The first church was built of logs and dedicated to Saints Peter and Paul.
1856 - Rev. Wappelhorst was appointed the first resident pastor.
1858 - A small brick church replacing the log church was built and dedicated to St. Vincent de Paul.
1874 - Construction of the present church began and was completed in 1875.
