Manuel Minjarez was born April 9, 1870 and died August 27, 1971. During his 101 years on earth, Mr. Minjarez must of seen a lot. On his birthday in 1870, the American Anti-Slavery Society dissolved. On his death day in 1971, Lil Hardin Armstrong died as well. She was the widow of Louie Armstrong. Mr. Minjarez lives through two World Wars and 20 presidents.
