The Baroque sandstone column with a statue of St Francis of Assisi was commissioned in 1765 by Franz Feix at a sculptor Jan Chládek from Turnov. The statue was stolen in 2004 and sold to Austria, where it was discovered by a police in 2009. From 2011 it has been located on the original place again. The statue is located at the crossroad in a small part of village Lucany nad Nisou called Freischütz. It is one of the most valuable monuments of rustic Baroque sculpture in the region. On the richly decorated Baroque column there is the polychrome statue of St. Francis in the monks robe with a skull in his hand. The statue is registered as the cultural monuments of the Czech Republic - cataloque number 1000132047.
