The obituary above was copied from The Ottawa Journal newspaper, 9 January 1971, page 27. At the time of his death, Kenny's mother Sally Beaton was a councilor with the Goulbourn township. Beaton's playground from the 1970s was eventually replaced with a modern structure. The posted co-ordinates represent the original location of that memorial playground.
