Sangre Ridge Elementary is located on the west side of Sangre Road, south of Highway 51. A 12 ft long and 3 ft high caterpillar is next to the school's flagpole. It is multi colored and a great art piece on display at the school. The artist for this insect sculpture is Eric Cameron, and this was a project of the Wings of Hope painted insect fundraiser.
