This tree can be found in the grassy Quad outside the Mason Lounge in the Arts Faculty building and the School of Mathematics (Watson Building) on the Edgbaston campus of the University.

The tree is identified by a staked rectangular board in front of the tree which has the follow text:

Greatly missed'


"Dan Garvey, a second year English student, died alongside his sister Emily, 23, mum Ann, 55 and dad Philip, 56 after their six-seater plane crashed in heavy rain in Somerset on Saturday, Novemeber 14[2015]." (visit link)
