This memorial to the war dead of the First and Second World Wars and the Korean War was erected on behalf of Royal Canadian Legion Branch No. 53. The cross of sacrifice contains the image of a crusader's sword. Around the base of the memorial are plaques providing details on local veterans who have passed away.

Who Put it Here?: Branch No. 53, Royal Canadian Legion
Description of Memorial: Together, the five bases of the monument and the granite Cross of Sacrifice measure approximately 15 feet high. A bronze crusader's cross is mounted on the Cross. The names of some of the soldiers who lost their lives are inscribed on small plaques at the foot of the monument. The monument is located on top of a hill from where the city below can be seen.
