This River Gage is easy to locate. It sits on the bank of the Mississippi River near a boat ramp to the river. It has been in continuous operation since 1875, and has a special sticker on the door that indicates that it is a "Century Gage".

During flood periods the river level at Camanche, Ia, at this gage, is quoted for current river updates more often then others in the area.

RIVER GAUGE INFORMATION:
River level is up a little due to recent rains.
