Florida DEP Survey Mark, Port Charlotte, Florida, USA - U.S. Benchmarks on Waymarking.com

Located on the north end of the Barron Collier Bridge crossing the Peace River on US Highway 41 also known as State Road 45 is a survey mark for the Florida Department of Environmental Protection. This survey mark is easy to access for folks physically impaired or utilizing mobility assist devices. There is ample parking, including disabled parking available in the Live Oak Point Park along with ADA compliant restrooms. Seating and picnic areas are available in the park.

The survey marker is located on the east side of the bridge in the bridge abutment right where the bridge sidewalk railing ends. It is mounted flush with the abutment and level with the paved road.
