Findagrave (see below) lists burials from the 1880s, and those are probably represented by the fieldstones near the back of the cemetery. Otherwise, the earliest visible dates are from the 1890s. Findagrave also lists the cemetery as being in Hoxbar. Details on this community are scant, and there's but a single reference to its being a town in the Encyclopedia of Oklahoma History and Culture. It does appear on a few maps, and parts of it are probably under Lake Murray.
