Information about this building is elusive, and the best we can find online is "old bank", but there's no indication as to its actual title. It may have been the First National Bank, Milburn, it may have been the Johnson County State Bank of Milburn, there are plenty of references, but nothing specific. In any event, the benchmark disk is easy to find: While facing northeast, locate the column in front of the door, and look down at its base. Care appears to have been taken over the years to not paint over the disk, which is in pretty good condition. When visiting, please respect the privacy of those living here. That door is covered from the inside, and obviously, is locked.
