Who Put it Here?: The community of Neils Harbour, Nova-Scotia
Description of Memorial: This granite cenotaph in the form of an obelisk is supported by four concrete bases of different sizes. It is located in proximity to the Cabot Trail Road. Behind the memorial is Neils harbour. The names of the soldiers who died in the first and second world wars are engraved on all four faces of the cenotaph. To the front and right of the cenotaph are black metal poles threaded with a white coloured chain. The body of water behind the cenotaph is the Cabot Straight - Gulf of Saint-Lawrence.
