The Goodger State school opened in 1917 and closed in 1962 the building is of weatherboard with a corrugated iron roof and a verandah to the front and rear and is elevated 1.2m above the ground. All the schools build in that era had the same design!! Even to where the water tanks were placed, and the toilets!!
