The depicted Baroque portal decorated by Thun-Hohenstein & Salm-Reifferscheidt-Hainspach alliance CoA is a main entrance of the Church of the Most Holy Trinity (Kostel Nejsvetejší Trojice) in Klášterec nad Ohrí.

The site for the construction of the new Klášterec parish church was chosen by the owner of the Klášterec demesne, Jan Zikmund Thun, who, however, died before its construction. After his death, the construction was financed by his son, Michael Oswald Thun-Hohenstein, in the years 1665–1670. The plans for the construction of the church come from the workshop of the Italian architect Carlo Lurago and the construction was carried out by the Italian builder and plasterer Rossi de Luca. The church was consecrated on September 21, 1670 by Michael Oswald's brother, Bishop Václav Thun. He also donated to the church the main altar dedicated to the Holy Trinity.

The parish church of the Holy Trinity successfully withstood several fires, an extensive and thorough renovation was carried out in 1884, new paintings were carried out, altars were newly renovated and stained-glass windows were installed. Another repair took place in 1936 and the last one in 2003, when the interior of the church was reconstructed.

The church is a single-nave structure with a polygonal presbytery, a northern sacristy and an oratory reserved for the nobility. On the front facade is a decorative stone cartouche with the alliance coat of arms of Count Michael Thun and his wife, nee of Lodron.

At present, the church serves its original purpose, Roman Catholic regular services are held there. It is also used as a venue for concerts and other cultural events. Source: excerpted and translated from Wikipedia and National Heritage Institute portal.
