Ik kwam tijdens een wandeltocht een stoeptegel met de tekst 'hond in de goot' tegen. Meestal staat er het symbool bij van een poepende hond en is de boodschap helder; dat je hond in de goot moet poepen en niet op de stoep. Zonder dat symbool kan je er van alles bij denken;
dat je hond bijvoorbeeld in de goot gezet moet worden, dat er een hond in de goot begraven is, etc. Er was in deze straat trouwens niet eens een goot..
During a walking tour I came across a pavement tile with the text 'dog in the gutter'. Usually it is the symbol of a pooping dog and the message is clear; that your dog should defecate in the gutter and not on the sidewalk. Without that symbol you can think of everything;
for example, that your dog should be put in the gutter, that a dog is buried in the gutter, etc. There was not even a gutter on this street ..
